Really a beautiful deck. This deck is appropriate for beginners or experienced tarot readers alike. Most definitely inspired by RWS traditional imagery and symbolism, it has enough accessibility to be an easy transfer if you're accustomed to reading with RWS. What I appreciate the most is the color scheme. The coloring is more complex than say the Universal Waite or regular Rider-Waite-Smith types, but is not distracting. Some reviewers don't like the reduced symbolism. But what I've found is that instead of the symbolism being reduced, it's the situational aspect (particularly with the minor arcana). For example, the 5 of Swords shows the swords retained by the main figure and the other swords lying on the ground, but skips the images of two people walking away. This is in no way a flaw: but if you prefer the metaphors to be clearer, this deck will present some challenges. (Similarly, the 4 of Rods shows the temporary festive structure, but not the celebrants). So the symbols are there for interpretation, but they're not "locked in" as it were by a situation or populated scene.Excellent material, typical to US Games decks on thick plastic covered card stock so they're sturdy and smooth. I do recommend this deck highly.

I collect tarot mainly for the art and this is a very beautiful deck. It's a derivative of the Waite deck but a lot of the images have been reimagined in a creative way. The symbolism is there but you may have to stare a bit longer to see it. I've wanted this deck for a few years and am not disappointed.

I had the Aquarian Tarot by Mr. Palladini tarot and saw this by him and was drawn to the beautiful artwork. It has now become my go-to deck for my readings. The artwork is stunning, the High Priestess being one of my favorites!

The images are simple yet elegant. The characters on these cards are easily approachable, and I found the messages are clear and accurate. A true classic.

Beautifully illustrated. Great interpretations, love the little booklets explanations. Cards are well made, albeit on the large side, but that doesn't bother me.

Gorgeous colors. Beautifully designed. My clients really enjoy their readings from this deck!

Great alternative to the traditional Rider Waite decks

Out of all of the Tarot decks I've seen this one has some of the best artwork. My only qualm is a minor one: at the bottom of each card it has a USGames copyright notice which, to me, seems out of place on such a meaningful card. It's barely noticeable but I'd rather it were not there. Otherwise I have nothing but good things to say about this beautiful deck. The included booklet would be perfect for beginners.

It's a good book more the most part. If you are not a certified personal trainer or are contemplating becoming one than this book is for you. If you already are a personal trainer there is good information but most likely you already know it. The first half of the book is almost entirely on the business aspect of it. While I agree that there are methods that will always be successful when it comes to selling/client retention/getting clients; the book needs to be updated badly. then in my opinion it would be a great resource. The most current edition was written in 2003. Since the internet played a minimal role than (and social media wasn't around,) There is little covered on that and I found myself just skimming through this whole section since things have changed so drastically since then. Its a good book to have as a reference and if you work in a corporate gym then it might be more beneficial to you. But if you're independent I just don't think its for you.

Douglass Brooks has given trainers several works to aid them in their pursuit of bringing health and wellness to their clients. This book not only draws together some of the information from some of his other works, but adds other information to give you a complete picture of your chosen field.

The book is a bit dated and there are better books out there, in my opinion, but overall it is a good book to read.

Douglass Brooks shows a complete understanding of the full gamut for Personal Trainers. His "Complete Book of Personal Training" covers A-Z of the subject. I especially like that he focuses so much on the goals of his customers, rather than how to fit your own intentions into their true needs. I recommend this book to anyone in the field, whether starting out, stepping up to the next level or just trying to be better in this profession. The only improvement I can recommend is an update to the book. I hope Mr. Brooks can find the time to issue a revised guide that addresses more recent changes in the field.

The book is based on starting your own personal training g business. I was under the impression it was in compass all aspects, still it is a good reference.

I have seen the personal struggle and journey of the author. About the Author
Born in 1951, Huismann studied history and social sciences. After a period as a development aid worker in Chile, he began his journalistic career in 1982 compiling investigative radio reports and authoring non-fiction books. Gwo-Hshiung Tzeng is a Distinguished Chair Professor at Kainan University. He is editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Operations Research and the International Journal of Information Systems for Logistics and Management.
